The U.S. soybean industry has one of the largest aquaculture programs in the world, working with aquaculture-producing countries globally to develop sustainable production technologies as well as sustainable feeds, environmentally friendly production culture systems, water recycling technologies, and safe, green aquaculture products. Working directly with producers in all types of aquaculture methods has proven effective and impactful for this very significant and growing aquaculture industry.
The Global Soy in Aquaculture program provides technical support to aquaculture producers and feed manufacturers in targeted countries in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas (Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean). Feed technical specialists provide support and training in feed formulation, soy use in aquafeeds, aquafeed manufacturing processes, mill operations and ingredient and feed quality control.
